Capstone Part 1

As I end my time in college and move on to a career in 3D art, I have decided to start a blog to chronicle my work, and hopefully my upcoming successes. Currently, I am working on my capstone, of which will dominate many of my blog posts over the next few months.  My capstone project involves a 3D re-creation of the Germany pavilion at the Epcot Center in Florida. I began this journey over a year ago when I visited the area and fell in love with the architecture, the variety, color, and uniqueness of the buildings was something to behold.
When my capstone finally began this spring, I knew the daunting task that I was facing. I know that I still have a lot of work that lies ahead of me, and yet I am more than half way done with the modeling. I hope to be finished by early April; at which time I will be moving on to unwrapping, texturing, and lighting

So how does it look so far? Below are the models and the corresponding pictures that I used to model from.
